Auf vier Sockeln steht jeweils ein doppelter Bilderrahmen, welcher zwei Fotografien zeigt. Die Rahmen sind untrennbar Rücken an Rücken befestigt, sodass jede Bildseite nur einzeln betrachtet werden kann.
Die Motive stammen aus der Natur, sind menschenleer und scheinbar zeitlos. Eine Seite zeigt ein farbiges Foto in zeitgenössischer Rahmung, die andere ein nahezu identisches Abbild aus einer anderen längst vergangenen Zeit, in einem entsprechend alten Bilderrahmen.
Sind Momente im Leben auf der Erde tatsächlich einzigartig oder selten auch wiederkehrend?

A double picture frame featuring two photographs stands on each of four pedestals. The frames are affixed back-to-back in such a way that they cannot be separated and each picture can only be seen individually.
The themes, drawn from nature, are free from people and seemingly timeless. One side shows a colour photo in a contemporary frame, the other an almost identical likeness from another time, long ago, in a suitably antique picture frame.
Are moments on earth really unique, or do they actually recur from time to time?
