Sightseeing (2007-2010)

Auf meinen Reisen durch verschiedene Länder und Städte der Welt fotografiere ich kleine natürliche Landschaften. Ich finde sie meist auf touristischen Pfaden oder nur wenige Schritte von ihnen entfernt. Dort werden sie oft übersehen, denn es sind gewöhnliche Pfützen, kleine Erdhaufen oder kniehohe Steinbrocken, welche ich so ins Bild rücke, dass sie zu großen weiten Landschaften werden.

Sightseeing (2007-2010)

On my travels through various countries and cities in the world,
I photographed small, natural landscapes. I usually find
them on tourist trails, or just a few steps away from them.
They are frequently overlooked there because they are ordinary
puddles, small heaps of earth, or knee-high boulders. I
frame them so that they become huge, vast landscapes..
