Installation mit Fotografien in gebrauchten Bilderrahmen auf Mustertapete, 2015 – 2018
Die Installation zeigt (teils modifizierte) Fotografien verschiedener Herkunft in gebrauchten Bilderrahmen auf einer Wandtapete der 50er und 60er Jahre. Die Motive könnten alle aus dem Familienalbum eines verstorbenen Ehepaares stammen und zeigen, wie dieses auf ganz unterschiedliche Weise aus den Bildern verschwindet. Die Fotografien scheinen den Moment nicht festhalten zu können.

Installation with photographs in second-hand picture frames on patterned wallpaper, 2015 – 2018
The installation shows (partly altered) photographs of different origins in second-hand picture frames on wallpaper from the 1950s/1960s. All the motifs could be from a family album that belonged to a married couple who have died, and show, in quite different ways, how this couple is disappearing from them. The photographs appear not to be able to capture the moment.
